Looking Back....

I made some collage that goes on my shop's "About" page. -words are not done yet..
To grab some images for it, I searched through my old blog posts.
I'm glad I'm keeping all these photos and a little words here. Silly posts, words that make me realize something, etc, etc. Very interesting.

These rings (w/ morganite & ruby) are experimental. They are stacking rings. Tiny stones are so hard to set.
There seems to be no short cut for this so I will take some time experimenting. I'm trying to figure out what techniques work the best for me and my style of work. Bezel is one thing I want to be good at. Next will be prong. Hopefully soon.

ショップのAboutページ 用のコラージュを作りました。（文はまだ未完成。）
コラージュ用の写真を探すべく、昔のブログを覗く。
写真やら文やらをこうしてずっと残しててよかったなあ。
おバカっぽいのやら、「ほほう」と再確認するのやら、イロイロで面白い。

さて、このリング達（モルガナイトとルビー）は試作品のスタッキング（重ね付け）スタイルのリング。小さい石はやっぱり石留めがとても難しい。どうやら近道はなさそうなので、のんびり実験を重ねていくしかなさそう。どんなテクニックが自分のスタイルに向いているのか。ベゼルはもっとうまくなりたい。次はプロング。できれば近々・・・。
