昨日は、わたしの一番古いお友達＆ダンナさんと遊びました。
彼女の実家は5年ほど前にオープンしたアンティークギャラリーのギャラリーいゑなかさん。
おうちを建て直したということで、よく遊びに行った頃の面影は消滅。
純和風のステキな佇まい。貫禄のある家具や異国情緒溢れるランプたちに惹かれました。
Hanged out with my oldest friend and her husband yesterday.
Her parents' home is "Gallery Ienaka" which opened about 5 years ago.
The house is completely rebuilt into a beautiful traditional Japanese style.
Gracious furniture and exotic lamps were so attractive.
福津の宮地嶽神社にて。
福間海岸のカフェがお目当てだったのですが、1時間待ちとかいうことだったので、近くのこの神社で時間をつぶ そうということに。子供の頃たくさん訪れたはずのこの神社、果たしてどういう行事で来たんだっけ？という話に。夏祭り？遠足？わたしたちは二人ともかなり 昔に故郷を離れてしまったので、あいまいになってしまった記憶も多いのかも。幻想的な藤棚がとてもロマンチックでした。
@Miyajidake Shrine in Fukutsu.
Our first destination was a cafe restaurant in Fukuma Beach but it was an hour wait so we drove to this shrine nearby to kill some time. We must have visited this place a lot in our childhood but we couldn't remember what occasion it was for. Summer festival? Field trip? We couldn't come up with any clue. Maybe because we both left our home town long long time ago, some of the memories became so vague. Dreamy wisteria trellis was so romantic.
さて、福間海岸のカフェ・ラナイへ戻ってきました。
ビーチの上にあるかわいらしい小さなカフェ。
何もかも言うことなし、といいたいところですが、オーダーしてから1時間以上もお食事が出てこず。
次回来るときにはもっとスムーズになってますように～。
So, here's Cafe Lanai back in Fukuma Kaigan/Beach.
It's a cute little cafe right on the beach.
Everything was perfect except that we had to wait over an hour for our meal to be served.
Hope they will be more professional next time...
というわけで、もりだくさんのステキな一日でした☆
お友達も全然変わってなくて、ダンナさんともほのぼのしたかんじで
微笑ましかった。また会う日を楽しみにしてるよ！！
It was a lovely fulfilling day.
My friend looked exact the same and the couple looked very cute and heartwarming together.
I look forward to seeing them again!
