Letters & Work of the Day

I found the letters from my cousin and her mom, my aunt, together in the mail box yesterday. 

One was a postcard, new year card, and the other was a letter. 

Strangely, it seems to have taken much longer for the postcard one to go through the custom.

My cousin included the copies of her latest drawings. 

I like her work, very unique and somewhat mysterious.

昨日は従姉妹と彼女のお母さま（叔母）からのお手紙が一緒に郵便箱に入っていました。

ひとつはハガキ（年賀状）、もうひとつは封書だったのですが、

不思議なことに、ハガキの方がだいぶ長いこと税関で足止め食らっていたらしいです。

従姉妹は最新の絵のコピーを同封してくれていました。

彼女の作品は、個性的でどこかミステリアスで好きなのです。
