Visited Carmel & Big Sur last weekend.
When I was still living in Monterey, I didn't take much advantage of this: hiking in Big Sur.
The weather was mostly foggy as usual but we got lucky during the adventure.
This trail here is located near Pfeiffer Beach.
There are no signs or anything to indicate where's the entrance to the trails. There isn't only one entrance either.You see some cars parked on the side when driving up and down on hwy 1 and that's pretty much the sign of something. Some trails go deep in the woods and the others go down to the beaches.
We did both this time.
Air was so clean and it was so quiet.
Such a healer. We didn't go far so I don't know how long the trail lasts.
I'm curious but kind of scared of forests.

先週末はカーメルとビッグサーに行ってきました。
まだモントレーに住んでいる頃、あまり行かなかったなあ、ビッグサーハイキング。
お天気は相変わらずほぼ霧でしたが、運よくこの間はいいかんじでした。
この写真のトレイルはファイファービーチの近く。
特にトレイルの入り口を示す標識などがあるわけでもなく、入り口はいくつもあるみたいで、ハイウェイ１を北上したり南下したりする際に、脇に車がちらほら停まってるとこには何かある、というような感覚。森にどんどん入っていくトレイルもあれば、ビーチに下っていくトレイルも。
今回私たちは両方楽しみました。
空気は澄んでいて、とても静かでした。
なんていう癒し。あまり遠くまで行かなかったので、トレイルの長さは分からずじまい。
好奇心はそそられるものの、森林ってすこし怖いです。
