After examining different types of chains and stones in hands,

spending some more time trying different things,

maintaining the simple designs to be very simple,

adding a little accents and contrasts here and there:

mixing a hint of gold into oxidized silver on earrings,

or the half shiny half oxidized look on the Y necklace,

and keeping the balance in mind always.

 

Turquoise always helps give a spiritual, tribal feel.

I enjoy creating something a little unique with this master healer stone.

The sparkly amethyst crystal bracelet is to celebrate

Pantone's "color of 2016" which are "rose quartz" pink and "serenity" blue.

So joining here are the very rose quartz and blue lace agate juxtaposed with amethyst beads.

In case you are curious about the crystal keywords on this mixed gem bracelet,

"unconditional love" for rose quartz, "tranquility" for blue lace agate,

在庫のチェーンと石を色々見比べながら、

ああでもないこうでもない、これにしよう、という時間を経て。

ほんの少しのゴールドをダークないぶし銀に取り入れたイヤリングや、

光沢と燻しのシルバーを半々にしたY型ネックレスなど、

工夫やコントラストをちらりと覗かせて。

バランスを気をつけつつ。

 

トルコ石はどこかスピリチュアルでエスニックな雰囲気を醸してくれる。

癒しマスターと言われるこの石は、ちょっぴり個性的にデザインするのが楽しい。

「ローズクオーツ」ピンクと「セレニティ」ブルーを組み合わせたく、

アメジストの横に並べてみました。

It was a windy but nice spring afternoon.

I found a few dandilion flowers and fluffs modestly dwelling in the grass next to the sidewalk that I never looked carefully before.

Because of the wind, I thought these fluffs wouldn't be the same tomorrow, so I got home, grabbed the camera and went back to the spot.

I also saw tiny tiny yellow flowers mixed in the grass that was so pretty.

These weed flowers, not the planted ones, turn out to be quite attractive.

They look a lot more natural and brave.

 

I've read someone's blog the other day and couldn't agree more.

 

That the newbies in Southern California tend to find this place boring when it comes to the seasons but after a while, time comes when they start to notice these seasonal shifts more and more.

 

So true.

 

 

風が強いけれど春らしい昼下がりでした。

いつもはじっくりと目を凝らすこともない道端の脇に植えられた芝の中に、ひっそりと佇むタンポポをぽつぽつ発見。

風が強いから、綿毛も間も無く飛んでしまうに違いない、と思い、家に戻ってカメラを持ってまたその場所へ。

よく見ると、芝にはちいちゃなちいちゃなかわいい黄色の花も散在してる。

植えられたものではなく、こういった雑草の花って意外に魅力的だと気づく。

なんというか、とても自然で健気に見える。

 

先日出会ったブログで、すごく共感したこと。

 

「南カリフォルニアの新参者は、ここは季節感がなくてつまらない、と感じがちなものだけど、いつの日か、次第に四季の変化に気付くようになる。」

 

と。ほんとにその通り。
