Recycling Silver by Fusing

I melted some silver pieces by accident this morning and that actually led me to create a few new items. I remember that the jewelry teacher from the college days taught us one day about the technique called fusing which finnaly was introduced to my creation today. I have plenty of scraps including failed bezels to use for recycling too. It's quite fun actually. Accidental outcome is the funnest part of it and i noticed that it's hard to create something identical from one to the other. It all depends but I seem to like learning things like this rather than reading instructions, which tends to overwhelm me and kill inspirations and motivations. The almost finished pieces are now being polished in tumbler machine. I will update tomorrow. Have a nice evening!
今朝、誤ってシルバーを少々溶かしてしまい、それが逆にいくつかの作品を生み出す結果となりました。そういえばカレッジ時代にジュエリーの先生がフュージョンのテクニックについて教えてくれたのを思い出す。それが今日こうしてやっと制作に導入されたというわけです。失敗した石留めの欠片も含めて、リサイクル用のシルバーの切れ端はたくさんあるのも好都合。なかなか面白いんです、これが。予想のつかない結果が面白い点なので、同じものを二つ作るとなると難しいことに気づいたりして。。どうやらこういうふうに行き当たりばったりで学ぶのが、説明書を読んで学ぶよりも向いてるようです。どうも読んで学ぶのはいまいち力んでしまってモチベーションも下がってしまいがち。場合によりけりですが。ほぼ完成の品々はただいまタンブラー機の中で磨かれているところです。明日また更新します。おやすみなさい！
