work from today and welcoming a piano

Nooooo!
I had two rings prepared for stone setting yesterday.
It went extremely smooth and I couldn't wait to complete them today.
Then.................... the marquise amethyst on the top failed!
Right when I finished setting the stone in the bezel, the band came off....
I guess it wasn't soldered good enough. Soooo sad.
Tried to repair but didn't happen. Now the stone is ruined and it's officially over.

The labradorite one came out good though.

The piano just arrived.
I played a lot and now my wrist is hurting.
I played a piano seriously for 10 years in my childhood then I got completely burnt out.
But, lately I started missing the sound of it so much so decided to buy a handy keyboard.
I was so excited to touch the keys. Wow, it does sound like a nice piano! But oh my...
Reading a music book became even hard.
I haven't played for almost 20 years so what was I expecting?

Once again, I'm telling myself. "Patience is a virtue."
Let's do this thing.

がーん！
昨日は、2つのリングを石留め前の状態まで仕上げておいたんです。
で、今日完成させるのを楽しみにしていました。
ところが・・・・・・上のひし形アメジストがまさかの失敗。
石留めを終えたところで、ぱきっとロウ付けしたバンド部分が折れた。。
ちゃんと付いてなかったみたい・・・すごくショック。
色々試してみたものの、今や石もダメにしてしまい、修復不能。。

そして、先ほどピアノが到着。
いっぱい弾きすぎて、手首が痛い。。
子供の頃、真面目に続けること10年、完全に嫌になってしまったのでした。
ところが最近、ピアノの音がやたらと懐かしく、気軽なキーボードを買ってみようということに。
鍵盤に触るのもどきどきわくわく。おお～ほんとにピアノの音がする！それにしても・・・
楽譜を読むのすら困難・・・・
まあ20年近くも弾いてないんだから、こんなものか？

忍耐忍耐。
と言い聞かせつつ、やってみるとします。
