Birthday & Winery お誕生日とワイナリー

It was my better half's birthday.
I picked up a whole cake at my regular pastry shop in the morning to have a homy celebration before heading out to winery tour in Temecula.

相棒くんの誕生日。
朝、おなじみのケーキ屋さんでバースデーケーキを引取り、ちょっとしたお祝いのひとときを過ごした後、テメキュラのワイナリーへと向かいました。

We went to 4 different wineries.We don't know much about wine but just love to enjoy it.
Doffo became my favorite of all.
Its run by Argentinean Doffo family. I saw their genuine enthusiasm for their hand crafted wines which fit my taste perfectly. I liked the fruitiness and refreshing after taste. I'm so tempted to become a member so I can get one bottle monthly....... (gotta save up for it!) Chimichurri, Argentinean sauce, was such an unforgettable taste. We went home with their sparkling wine, Paulina, which was made to dedicate to grandma Paulina Doffo (I assume) who passed away a few years ago. We enjoyed so much hearing stories along each wine we tasted. What a blast!

4軒のワイナリーに行きました。ワインのことはよく分からないのですが、嗜むのが好きなのです。
Doffoが一番のお気に入り。
アルゼンチンのドッフォファミリーの手作りワインへの情熱がしっかり伝わってきたのと、私の舌に一番合った ので。フルーティで後味がすっきりしていたのがよかったです。会員になると月一でワインが送られてくるので、とっても惹かれるところですが・・・（貯金することにします！）　チミチュリというアルゼンチンのソースは忘れがたいお味でした。結局、ポーリナという、数年前に亡くなったポーリナ・ドッフォ（という名前だと予想）おばあちゃんに捧げるべく作られたというスパークリングワインを購入。テイスティングしたワイン一つ一つにまつわるエピソードを楽しみ、とってもステキなひとときでした。
 

Our last stop, Robert Renzoni is where we enjoyed a live music with 6 glasses of tasting.
Don't you love this kind of unexpected extra bonus on trip? Such wonderful live music that we didn't know about, and a coupon (2 for 1 tasting) I happened to find in my purse!

最後はRobert Renzoni（ロバート・レンゾーニ）にて、ライブと6種類のワインを楽しみました。旅の途中のこういう思いがけないラッキーな出来事っていいですよね。こんなステキなライブが聴けるなんて思わなかった上に、バッグの中にクーポン（1人分価格で2人分）発見！

It sure became a memorable day for us.

とってもいい思い出になりました。
