Here's a part of what I got at the gem show I mentioned on previous post:
I don't know why but the iridescence of labradorite attracts me so much!
Don't I have enough beads already? I do but I have to have different shapes and sizes of them!!
Moonstone is a subtle version of labradorite. It will be fun working with this nugget shape.
This time I got some upper class faceted beads.
Stones that I wasn't familiar with were:
Moss aquamarine & Andalusite.
Mysterious teal deep ocean color is so beautiful with moss aquamarine and and the color of andalusite ranges from topazish orange brown shade to olive green. Very pretty.
And gorgeous tourmaline.... Who doesn't care for this stone?
I should have got more silver spacer beads. I love its look with random cut.
Creamy light blueish green chrysoprase is always my favorite too.
Not shown here but I got aquamarine that I first mistook as chalcedony.
I thought the color is a little different from chalcedony then it turned out to be precious aquamarine!
I didn't come across any bright color gemstones with fine quality this time.
The bright ones I saw all looked dyed and cheap unfortunately.
No good chalcedony, no carnelian with larger size.
Or maybe I was too late to arrive there that good ones were all gone?
Oh well. There's always next time.....

前回のブログ↓でちらりとお話ししたビーズショーでゲットした品を一部ご紹介。
どうしてだか、ラブラドライトのその玉虫ばりの光沢には惹かれて止みません。
すでにたくさん在庫があるはずなのに、違う形やサイズをゲットせねば！！ということで。
ムーンストーンはラブラドライトの控えめバージョンというかんじですね。
このナゲット型をどう使おうか楽しみです。
今回は、ちょっとハイクラスのファセットビーズをゲットしてみました。
見たことなかった石：
モスアクアマリンとアンダルーサイト（紅柱石）
神秘的な青緑の深い海色のモスアクアマリンと、トパーズのような茶褐色からオリーブグリーンに渡る紅柱石。とてもきれいです。
そしてゴージャスなトルマリン。この石が好きじゃないなんて人はいないのでは。
シルバーのビーズをもっと仕入れればよかった、、ランダムなかんじがいいです。
クリーミーな青緑のクリソプレーズは相変わらずお気に入り。
そして、写真にはないのですが、最初カルセドニーかと見間違ったアクアマリンも入手できました。どうもカルセドニーとは色が少し違うな、と思いきや、尊いアクアマリンさんでした！
明るい色かつクオリティのいいものは今回はお見かけしませんでした。
明るいのは全ていかにも染めてるっぽい安っぽいものばかりで。
大きめのカルセドニーやカーネリアンには出会えず。
それとも到着が遅すぎていいのは持って行かれちゃったのか？
まあ仕方ない。また次回ということで。
