Beach, Harbor & Birds

 

Saturday afternoon in Laguna Beach.

The water felt as cold as ice when touching the feet but was somewhat offset by the 88F (32C) weather.

The old man appeared and started feeding big breadcrumbs to these hungry birds.

No wonder the seagulls here are so huge.

 

土曜の午後、ラグナビーチにて。

海水は足に触れると氷のように冷たかったけれど、32度の気温が幾分相殺してくれた。

不意に現れた老人が、お腹の空いた鳥たちに大きなパンくずを投げ始めた。

どおりでここのカモメたちはことさら巨大。

 

 

 

Went further South on Pacific Coast Highway and stopped by Dana Point Harbor. 

It was super windy.

 

海沿いのハイウェイ、PCHをさらに南に下ってデイナポイントハーバーに寄ってみました。

かなりの強風。

 

 

 

Here's the last stop of the day to meet some more birds.

They thought I had food. They dashed straight towards me till they almost touched me. Looking at the Egyptian goose on this image, I see a tag attached on his leg saying "20". He might be under inspection.

And the Aflac duck, so cute.

 

It is heartbreaking to hear the news on the earthquakes....

Earth is falling apart.

 I can't help praying.

 

 

そしてさらなる鳥たちとの出会い求めて、最後の立ち寄りはここ。

何か食べ物を持ってると思ったみたいで、まっすぐ猛進してきた彼ら。あわや触れるかと思った。エジプトガンの写真を見て気づいたのですが、足のとこに「20」と記された札が付いてる。監視されているのかしら。

そして、「アフラック」のアヒル。かわいいな。

 

地震の悲しいニュース。

被害のことを思うと心痛みます。

大丈夫かな、地球。
