We had another cold rainy stormy day yesterday!
Cloudy sky looks pretty in pictures but it was just soooo gloomy:(
I have been working on these rings since yesterday and had some frustrating moment.
The green trillion shaped stone (tsavorite garnet) fell on the carpeted flower and took me
over an hour to find it... I assumed it just went straight down... but turned out
to be a headache. Yes it is very tiny but I didn't expect it to be completely hidden in between shags.
I usually give up if they don't show easily enough but no way I would have let go this beautiful tsavorite. So happy I found it after all! I learned my lesson. I need to be extra careful not to drop it or get a plastic mat underneath.
Anyhow, the marquise shaped orange stone next to it is fire opal. Stone-setting is the nervous time.
I finish my breakfast and get to it soon.
Now I'm considering about getting a grinder tool.
I was thinking about Foredom's flex shaft but now learning there are some other types.
It's better to keep things simple and compact so it's also travel-friendly.

昨日はまた寒い、雨と嵐の一日でした。
写真に撮るといい雰囲気の曇り空ですが、やっぱり気分がどんよりしてしまいますね。
昨日からはこのリングに取り組んでおります。
トリリオン型グリーンの石（ツァボライトガーネット）をぽろっと落としてしまい、
見つけるのに軽く1時間は費やすの巻で嫌になってしまいました。
真っ直ぐ下に落ちたと思ったのに、こんなに梃子摺ることになるとは・・・。
小さな小さな石なのですが、まさかあんなにカーペットの毛足の間にすっぽり
隠れてしまうとは。普段はそんなに必死になって探さないのですが、
このツァボライトはなくしたくない！というわけで、見つけたときの嬉しさといったら。
いやはや、落とさないようにもっと気をつけなきゃ。プラスチックのフロアマットも必要かも。
隣のマーキーズ型オレンジの石はファイアーオパールです。
石留めが一番どきどきです。朝ごはんを食べて、ゆっくり取り掛かるとします。
さて、そろそろグラインダー（リューター）を買おうかな、と考え中。
フォードムというブランドのフレックスシャフトにしようとずっと思ってたのですが、
だんだん調べていくうちに、他のタイプもあるんだと分かってきました。
シンプルでコンパクトで、携帯可能（ぎりぎり？）だとありがたい。
この楽天で見つけたミスター・マイスターのがよさそう。
