Doves & Turtle

 

 

 

This is a few weeks ago when they were seen together.

Since then, they've been showing up separately, taking turns: Oscar in the early morning, then Lulu around noon till the evening, and Oscar again in the late evening until dark. (in shifts?)

 

 

 

数週間前のツーショット。

この日を最後に、代わる代わる別々に現れるようになりました。オスカー朝、ルル昼から夕方、再びオスカー夕暮れ時から暗くなるまで、という調子。(シフト制？)

And this cute little girl turtle named Loki joined a family last weekend.

She was very nervous in the beginning but didn't take long to settle down and start to show a charm. She seems to like her back been patted.

 

 

この小さなかわい子ちゃん(女子ガメ)、ロキと名付け、先週末から家族の仲間入り。

最初はとてもビクついていたけど、すぐに馴染んで個性を覗かせるようになりました。背中をなでなでされるのが好きみたい。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She doesn't like a deep water.

She loves sunbathing lifting up her legs in the air.

She is so tiny now that it's hard to imagine how big she will grow!

It may seem easy but just as I've heard, it does require some work.

You have to have a passion for it.

 She's already quite a high maintenance girl.

 

 

水があまり深いのは苦手。

足を宙に浮かせて日光浴するのが大好き。

今はこんなに小さいので、いかに大きくなっていくのか、想像つかないな。

簡単そうに見えて、カメの飼育は意外に大変らしく、、。

愛がないと気軽に飼ってはいけないと聞いていたけど、

確かに、既にけっこう手のかかる女の子です。
