Canadian Goose vs Egyptian Goose

Hi there, are you alone today?

Where's your partner?

You look restless and kind of grouchy, what happened?

I was talking to this guy while he was walking around and busy eating food on the ground.

Some ducks wanted to come out of the water for supper but this goose seemed to have decided that this area was his territory and chased away whoever wanted to hang out on the grass near him.

Poor scared ducks had to fly back to the water every time they attempted to come up on the grass.

So this loner goose acted as a tyrant, until there was the sudden change in the situation with

the Canadian goose family's arrival.

あら、今日は一人なの？

相方は？

なんか落着きなくて不機嫌そうだけど、どうしたん？

などと話しかけている横で、うろうろ歩き回り、地面の餌を貪っていたエジプトグースさん。

アヒルさんたちがお腹を空かせて陸に上がって来たがっていたものの、

どうやらこのグース、その周辺は自分のテリトリーだと思い込んでるらしくて

近づくものを皆、追いやってしまうという始末。

かわいそうなアヒルたちは、陸に上がろうと試みるたびに

また再び水面へと逆戻り、の繰り返し。

というわけで、暴君っぷり発揮のエジプトグース氏だったのですが、、、

カナダグース御一行様の登場で事態が一変！

The challenge didn't pay off.

(I knew it would be a losing battle...)

There's no power that would last forever...

Hope the mate will return soon to cheer him up!

戦い挑むも敗退。

(いやぁ、さすがに負け戦ってわかってたよ...)

つかの間の権威なのでした… 

相方さんが早く帰ってきて慰めてくれるといいね。
