Gemstones

 

It is a beautiful beautiful day with a perfect temperature over here today.
Although I didn't get much sleep last night, this weather made me so productive and inspired. Even gemstones looked sparkling happy under a bright sunlight. This tiger eye scarab cabochon arrived the other day. I don't know what it is but I'm so attracted to these beetle-like scarabs, amulets in ancient Egypt. Not shown in here but I also got a tiny version with amazonite. Findings are coming tomorrow to experiment with these cabochons. Some other projects are waiting in line, will be updated next week!

本日こちらは気温も完璧で、とても気持ちのいい一日でした。
昨日の睡眠時間は今いちだったものの、このお天気のおかげでとっても生産的で感度がよかった気がします。明るいお日様の下で、天然石まできらきら幸せそうに見えました。先日、タイガーアイのカボションが届きました。なぜだか分からないのですが、古代エジプトのお守りだったというこのコガネムシ？みたいなスカラベがとても気になるのです。こちらには載せてませんが、小さいバージョンのアマゾナイトも購入。明日材料が来るので、実験してみようと思っています。色々と他にもプロジェクトが溜まっています。また来週ご報告します！

 

Not much going on but I keep some patches of inspiration on the wall in front of my desk. And these two pairs are also waiting for the findings that will arrive tomorrow. I like this new process of sketching, coloring, then making the actual piece.

それほどのものでもないのですが、机の前にインスピレーションの欠片をいくつか貼っ付けています。そしてこちらの２点のイヤリングも明日届く材料待ち。スケッチ、色つけ、そして実際に作成、という新たなプロセス、いいかんじです。
