Backgammon Saturday

It was a beautiful Saturday. We played backgammon at our favorite cafe, Pain Du Monde in Fashion Island. (And I sucked at it. I don't quite know how to play it...!) Anthropologie was having a big sale but didn't find anything...fortunately! We have two other main big malls in our area like South Coast Plaza and Irvine Spectrum but Fashion Island is my favorite. Because it is an open mall beautifully landscaped with fountains and koi pond that creates less "mall" feel to it. It also has lots of my favorite shops that are uniquely selected.

気持ちのいい晴天の土曜日でした。ファッションアイランドのお気に入りカフェ、パン・ドゥ・モンドでバックガモンをしました。（やり方がよく分からなくて、大負けでしたが、、、、！笑）アンソロポロジーでは大セールをやっていたのですが、幸い？お気に入りアイテムには出会わず。。。近所には他にサウスコーストプラザとアーバインスペクトラムというような大型モールがあるのですが、ファッションアイランドが一番のお気に入りです。オープンモールで、ステキな噴水や鯉の池があったりしてそこまでモールっぽいかんじがしないからかもです。そして、ショップたちもなかなか個性的なセレクトでいいかんじなのです。
