Weekend Joy ~ Backgammon & Wildlife (Birds)

 

Sunny Saturday.

After playing backgammon at cafe comes another bird-watching time!

 

快晴の土曜日。

カフェでバックガモンを楽しんだ後に、性懲りも無く、またバードウォッチングなひととき。

 

 

 

 

I thought these Egyptian geese are rare to be found but maybe not. Here they are again.

They are quite notorious for its annoying quack but look at them when they are about to take a nap.

So cute and peaceful :)

 

 

エジプトガンってけっこうレアなのかと思いきや、そうでもないのかしら。またまた出会いました。

彼らの鳴き声はかなり悪名高いらしいのですが、こうしてうとうとしている姿は

なんとも可愛くて、平和そのもの。

 

 

 

 

And the coot. They seem to spend most of their times in a large group of their own clan but there's a case of odd balls: some that swim with ducks and the others who prefer to be alone.

 

そして、オオバン。大家族の集団行動が習性の様子ながら、中には変わり者も・・？

アヒルと泳いでいる子や、一人で過ごしているマイペースな子など。

 

 

 

 

Swimming ducks. I wonder what they feel. They must feel good swimming like this!

 

アヒルたち。どんな気持ちなんだろうなー。きっと気持ちいいに違いない。

 

 

 

 

I didn't know what these guys were when their heads were twisted on the other side like this.

 

 

そしてこちら。頭がくねっと向こう側に折れて、なんの鳥だか不明だったのですが・・・

 

 

 

 

They were black heron.

 

クロサギでした。

鷹かと思った。
