Hot Summer Days

My very favorite summer drink, thai iced tea (with boba), even better in a crazy hot day.

I have been seeing these white flower trees here and there on the street. So far I can't find the name of it.
I traveled to Fashion Island with my already getting warm thai iced tea. Koi pond seemed to have less fish and I saw a lot of them hiding side by side under the water plant. I guess fish don't like the direct sunlight. In contrast, the small baby koi fish were swimming so energetically and quickly through the calm and slow adults.

Then these heart melting chihuahua pups...one wants to play but the other one is too sleepy. 

夏の大好物。ボバ入りタイアイスティです。猛暑の日はますます美味しく感じます。

ところでこの白い花の木、いろんなとこでよく見かけます。いまのところ名前は不明。

すでに温くなりかけたアイスティと共にファッションアイランドへ。鯉の池が寂しいな、と思いきや、プラントの下にいたいた。ひしめき合って隠れてます。魚も直射日光は苦手なのかしら。それとは対照的に、小さな赤ちゃん鯉たちはのんびりゆっくり泳ぐ成魚たちの間を精力的に俊敏にすり抜けていました。

そしてこのとろけるようなチワワちゃんたち。遊びたがる子と眠たい子。
