Southwestern Inspired Turquoise Necklace

Here's the fifth or sixth design idea that I finally decided to stick to: the wing accented wire-wapped turquoise necklace. The previous ideas were like with links around the stone or with different gemstones on the bottom instead of the wing. As usual, simplicity won. Kinda Southwestern? The possible reason shown below: Sedona, Arizona. I happened to encounter some pictures from the trip the other day and these images must have stayed in my head. Seeing this final piece of work reminded me of the moment I was drawn to some images a few days ago. Our brains are so responsive.

ワイヤーで巻いたターコイズネックレス(羽がポイント) です。5つ目か6つ目のアイデアでやっと落ち着きました。これに行き着く前はというと、石の周りにリングを加えてみたり、羽の代わりに他の石を吊るしてみたり、というかんじだったのですが、やはりいつも通り、シンプル路線で決まり。なんとなくサウスウェスタン（インディアン）なかんじでしょうか。多分その理由は下の画像。アリゾナのセドナ。数日前にこの時の旅の写真を眺めていたのですが、それが頭のどこかに残っていたのでしょう。作品が出来上がった時点で、「あら」と。もしかしてあの写真たちの影響？恐るべし、脳反応。

また会う日まで、アリゾナ。猛暑が去った頃に！
