Monterey is a hidden gem in Central Coast, California.
And I spent another Christmas in this town.
今年のクリスマスも行ってきました。
My favorite moment of this trip is this, the meadow in Carmel Mission Ranch.
Look how many sheep are laying on the grass!

羊さんたちがいっぱい！
Of course, they are too scared to come near the fence but it's ok, I enjoyed viewing them for a while.
怖がりで知られる羊さんたち、ぜんぜん寄ってきませんが、
遠くから見てるだけでも大満足。
And my favorite beach here, I never skip this one!
もちろん、いつものビーチも外せません。

And Carmel-by-the-sea.
It was pretty quiet on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but the day after was exceptionally more packed with tourists than ever!
カーメルの町もぶらぶらしました。
イヴとクリスマスはガラーンとしてましたが、次の日は異例なほど観光客で賑わってました。

Can you tell how freezing it is from the picture? Despite the beautiful sky,
it was a record cold temperature this day in Monterey.
Ok, it's nowhere near the snow counties but still... 40℉ is pretty low isn't it?
夕暮れ時にフィッシュマンズワーフにも寄ってみました。
お天気は素晴らしくよいのにとにかく寒かった。
華氏40度代とのことだから、摂氏5度とかでしょうか。
(日本と変わらない！？)
