Wherever I go, I tend to end up heading for the ocean.
Gray, sunny, rainy, stormy, it all matches there.
Looking at these pictures, I'm liking this gloomy look a lot, so dreamy.
どこに行っても結局は海の方へ向かってしまいます。
灰色、快晴、雨、嵐、なんでもしっくりきてしまう場所。
この写真を眺めていたら、どんよりしたかんじがなんかいいな、と思う。
幻想的で。
As I got closer to the destination, the sky started to clear and the sight became blue all the sudden.
It's so strange that the weather changes so drastically like this.
Finding a good picnic spot, good meaning less crowded, was a little bit tricky.
There are so many different coastal access signs on the road, choosing the one relies on the luck.
After driving back and forth, this one was it, near the artsy fantasy home.
Going under the graffiti bridge, trying not to slide down the muddy slope, was a fun adventure.
目的地に近づくにつれて、空は晴れ渡り始めて、辺りはすっかり青色。
お天気がこんなに劇的に変わるなんて、不思議なかんじ。
さて、よいピクニックの場所、（混んでない場所） を探すのは少々難航しました。
海岸アクセスの看板はあちこち出ているので逆に、これ！というのが難しく、ほぼ運任せ。
行ったり来たりしたのちに、これだ、という場所にやっと行き当たる。
ファンタジーに出てきそうなアートなお家の近く。
ファンキーなグラフィティの橋の下に降りるのがまたひと冒険。
舗装されていないぬかるんだ傾斜をずるずるっと滑らないように。
What amazed me the most was the sight of pelicans.
So many of them!
I've never seen them hunting fish, diving into the water to feed themselves.
There were a couple of times that they flew slowly through just a few feet above me but
I wasn't quick enough to reach the camera...!
That was the only bummer thing I did during this trip.
何が一番驚いたかというと、ペリカンたち。
ほんとに沢山あふれていたんです。
今まで見たことなかった光景、彼らが魚を捕る様子。
水に勢いよく真っ直ぐに落ちていくんです。
悔やまれたことがひとつ、頭の上すぐそこを何度かゆらりと飛んで行ったのに、
シャッターチャンスを逃してしまったということ。。。いやぁ残念。。
