San Clemente

 

 

 

San Clemente, 30 minutes away from Irvine.

 

I don't know why I've never explored this cute little town where well-aged Spanish inspired buildings maintain the feel of good old days. A few blocks down from the down town is the beach, very crowded with surfers.

While most shops close at as early as 4~5 pm and the quietness seems to sneak in, lights and laughters leaking out of restaurants start to take over the town to display moody nightly liveliness.

 

Cozy time passes so quickly. I can't wait to go back for more discoveries.

 

 

 

 

アーバインから車で30分のサン・クレメンテ。

 

そこそこ年季の入ったスペイン風建築が古き良き時代を思わせるかわいらしい町、なんで今まで足を踏み入れなかったんだろう。ダウンタウンを何ブロックか下るとそこはビーチで、サーファー達で賑わっている。

 

ショップは4時5時で閉まり、静まりかけたと思ったら、暗くなるにつれてレストランの明かりと食事を楽しむ人々の笑い声で町は別の顔を現して息を吹き返す。

 

心地のよい時間はあっという間に過ぎてしまう。次回また新たな発見があるといいな。
