Enjoyed a calm, relaxing walk along Long Beach Harbor.
The air was crisp with no wind, the water was so tranquil and beautiful.
The view with the blue sky is the same all year round, yet
the subtle dark winter mood surrounds the ocean, giving a different feel from the summer time.
The harbor was packed with a variety of boats; vintage and new, big and small.
A large egret flew past to land under the nearby bridge.
Short daylight hours make me a little drowsy during the day.
Long weekend ends tomorrow.
ロングビーチハーバー沿いをのんびりお散歩。
風のないピリリと引き締まる空気と、静寂で澄んだ水。
空は変わらず青く、一年を通して同じ情景のはずなのに、
やはり夏場とは違う、かすかにダークな冬の気配。
ハーバーにずらりと停泊しているボートは、新旧、大小さまざま。
大ぶりのシロサギが、ついーっと横切って行き、側の橋の下に降り立った。
日が短いこの時期、昼間も少々眠気に襲われます。
連休は明日で終わり。
