Nostalgia

Inspired by my dad, I've been going through some old photos.
This trip happened back in 1999, celebrating our college graduation. 
Me and my girlfriends landed on Hanoi, taking a train to Huế then flew to Hồ Chí Minh, staying for a few days in each city. Then headed to our last destination, Kuala Lumpur & Redang Island in Malaysia.
Not sure how we managed to accomplish all this, but our fearless youth must have made it all possible.
(or I just followed my sharp friends)

So, here are some pictures from Hanoi. For a big city, Hanoi had a quite calm and peaceful ambiance. 
We walked everywhere, ate where the locals do. Yes, we ate A LOT without worrying our stomachs.

父に触発され、昔の写真をあれこれ整理しているところ。
この旅行は1999年、大学卒業旅行の際のもの。
ハノイに降り立ち、そこから電車でフエに移動し、フエからホーチミンへは飛行機で。
それぞれの町に数日ずつ滞在し、最後の目的地、マレーシアのクアラルンプールと
レダン島へ。どうやって全部こなしたんだったっけ。若さゆえの無謀さ？
（はたまた、切れ者の友人達について回ってただけか・・・）

というわけで、こちらはハノイより。大きな都市にしては、どこかのんびりした雰囲気だったハノイ。
いっぱい歩き廻り、食事は地元の人たちが行くようなところで。 たくさん食べました。
お腹のことなど気にせずに。
