Retouching Already Made Jewelry

The top pair, 14kt gold, was a gift. It originally had a matching sterling silver oval hoop attached to it but it broke off so I removed the sterling silver part completely, hammered gold oval hoop, brushed for some texture, and added moonstone drop that came from another pair of earrings. The second pair is also a gift, from "agete", the Japanese jewelry brand. It's an interesting design with gold & silver combination but something seemed to be missing to me so I added cubic zirconia teardrop on the bottom. Modifying something already made is a fun thing to do too.

14金のペアはいただきもので、もともとスターリングシルバーの楕円がついていたのですが、壊れてしまったので、両方とも外してしまい、ゴールドの楕円部分をハンマーで打って磨いて質感を出し、別のイヤリングから取ってきたムーンストーンの雫をくっつけてみました。二つ目もいただきもの、アガットのです。ゴールドとシルバーの組み合わせで面白いデザインなのですが、なんとなく淋しい気がして下にジルコニアのドロップを加えてみました。こうして出来合いのものをいじってみるのも楽しいです。
