Trip to Nursery -ナーセリー遊び

Such a healing place the nursery is.... I don't have a yard but do have a patio that I can sit down and relax. I don't know what took me so long but finally I will be altering this patio to a little garden.So far, I've got red bell pepper, a few tropical plants, lavender, and pink flower called kalanchoe. The other day, I found cute hand painted ceramic pots at the drug store where I didn't expect to run into anything cute like that. Getting pretty pots triggered me even more.
So, I took a trip to a nursery, enjoyed admiring those seasonal flowers. I would love to start creating container gardening arts, mixing different flowers in one pot. There needs to be a balance in colors and shapes, as well as a consideration on their compatibility. Maybe I should buy a book to learn more before I jump into it. It seems to be advanced for such a beginner like me. It will be a fun long-term project.

ナーセリーは癒しの場。うちにはお庭はないのですが、座ってリラックスできるようなバルコニースペースならあります。どうしてこんなに時間がかかってしまったのか、というかんじながら、やっとこさ、このバルコニーを小さなガーデンにしようと計画中。今のところ、パプリカと、観葉植物数点、ラベンダー、カランコエというピンクのお花を購入しました。先日、そんなアイテムに出会えるとは思えない薬局にて、かわいいハンドペイントの陶器のプランターを見つけました。このかわいいプランター達がますます引き金となり・・・。
ナーセリーへ。季節の花々をじっくりと楽しませてもらいました。色んな花をひとつのプランターに組み合わせたプランターガーデニングのアートを 楽しめるようになれたらなあ、と思うのですが、色や形のバランスもさることながら、相性の良し悪しも考慮しなければならないので、私のような初心者にとっては上級すぎるかな。焦って試行錯誤するよりも、本を買って研究した方がいいかも。楽しい長期戦のプロジェクトとなりそうです。
